Randy hoped Sebastian still had his cell on him. Why hadn't he thought to do so sooner? Call him. He supposed Anita must have tried. Maybe he didn't want to talk to her because of their little spat. Maybe Sebastian needed him.
Randy nursed the corner of his bottom lip as he cleaned up the dishes after supper. He wasn't sure if getting involved was the right thing to do and yet, Franny already had gotten herself involved.
Of course, he tried Sebastian number and just got his voice mail. He plopped down on the couch then while Franny was in the shower and called Anita.
"Don't guess you've heard anything, aye." Randy said right away.
"Nothing." She sounded so sad as if this was all her fault.
"Frannie thinks she saw that brother or who ever he is, in town." He didn't mention that Franny had called Louie.
"Really?" Anita sounded as if it might be the lead they needed to help find Sebastian.
"I just wanted to let you know, it probably has nothing to do with you. He wouldn't just leave without you, like that. I know he loves you." Randy hoped he was right. Was he just a stupid romantic or what, he was beginning to wonder.
He hoped they found Sebastian soon.
