a row

"Like bloody hell!" Jamie clicked his cell off and tossed it to the couch. He looked down at baby Risa who was evidently enjoying his fretting because she wasn't at odds with him.

"What is it?" Sebastian normally didn't even ask questions anymore. He moved about without ever notice Jamie at all now. It was as if he wasn't there.

"Are you talking to me?" Jamie winced.

"Yes." Sebastian was getting a snack before bed. As it was they hadn't had a meal together in ages. It wasn't exactly the way Jamie planned. Now Sebastian had his old job at the library, shelving.

"It seems Rhys' Mum doesn't think the baby here is his so why should she be obligated to do anything." Jamie sighed.

"Is she yours?" Sebastian looked at him coldly.

"What the fuck do you think?" Jamie squinted.

"Well, you are the one doing all the fuck'n, now aren't you?" Sebastian bit into a cookie then and drank his milk.

"Shut it, with all the fuck'n." Jamie told him. "And who is it you spend all your time with? Hmmm?"

"So?" Sebastian squinted hard. "What's that got to do with anything?"

"Is Randy your boyfriend?" Jamie snapped.

"He's bloody too old for you." Jamie decided.

"What?" Sebastian scowled. "He's seventeen. I'm fifteen."

"You're just a boy."

"God, you're so fuck'n homophobic." Sebastian stomped off to his room then and slammed his door shut. Naturally, Risa began to cry then.

This was so intense and Jamie suddenly being so fatherly..afraid for Sebastian..and he thinks he knows Jamie when he really doesn't. Great!
