Which room would Maxie choose for Frannie. This would be painful, wouldn't it?
"Well, you should have first choice. You are running the place," Katy informed him.
"I know, but she a little one already and sounds like another on the way. Not soon though." Maxie shrugged as the looked about the bedrooms on the second floor. "I promised Sasha we'd have something with own loo. She deserves as much, don't you think?"
"I never met her." Katy looked at him wide eyed.
"Me either. I don't think," Maxie winced. "Maybe we could just take Laleh's room, you know. So when she comes back, she can be mad at me and no one else."
"Well, we'll be together." Katy looked at him as if she was going no where.
"Well, we'll have to have a little war with her then when she comes back."
"Lets just stay in your room." She decided for them. "It's just across from Ste's."
"All right." Maxie shrugged. "Laleh's room will be off limits until we absolutely need it."
"Just how many boarders are you counting on?" Katy wanted to know.
"Eight at the most."
"And you're offering them meals?"
"Meals?" Maxie hadn't really thought of that.
"Why not?" Katy smiled. "Breakfast and dinner."
"Bed and breakfast?" Maxie really wasn't thinking of hosting such fare.
"No, breakfast and dinner." She scowled.
"What would I feed them?" He crossed his arms and tilted his head in thought. He so needed to write this all down. He would be doing this day in and day out. It felt like a prison sentence the more she spoke of the nuts and bolts of the operation.
"Just on week days." She nodded.
"Of course." Suddenly, he felt cold. His hearing off. Even a little dizzy with his heart pounding in his ears. He was going to have a panic attack.
