Laleh was in a daze again. She couldn't remember if Colin left or he came back a while ago. Whatever, he was there and so up close and personal as they, perhaps floated across the disco. They weren't really dancing were they? Actually, she didn't notice anyone but him. No. No. Wasn't that Lauren in the corner by the loo with Anita?
Laleh squinted. Couldn't be. She never came here and how would Anita even know how to get in the door.
"What are you looking at?" Colin looked at her quite impishly. "Just look at me. I have something for you."
"What is it?" She stared into his dazzling eyes.
"You'll have to come and get it," He stuck his tongue out then and there it was. A little pill waiting for her. He Frenched her then and before she knew it, she'd swallowed it already.
He was up to his old tricks as if they were new to her again. It could be fun. It was fun. Didn't she remember?
"Well, come on, lets have some drinks before it kicks in. Just wouldn't be right, other wise." He pulled her along in her half stupor.
This was fun, wasn't it? The dancing, the drinking, the drugs. She'd told him, no hadn't she? She'd got some her cash back from him, too. But was it gone already? Evidently.
Laleh just watched then. She felt all the comfort of being in a balloon. Just floating along. She couldn't really understand the noise. Did it really matter. She felt like a fairy of some kind. Yes, that's what she was.
Instantly, she smiled, looking around. Perhaps she was even glowing. Of course, everyone already knew she was the luckiest lass in the room. She was with Colin.
